The Rotary Club of Key Biscayne sponsors an annual Art Festival that raises in excess of $10,000 a year for organizations such as the Association for Retarded Citizens and the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center on Key Biscayne. The local Lions Club hosts an Oktoberfest celebration and a Pancake Breakfast to raise money to prevent blindness and to help those who have lost their sight. The Key Biscayne Auxiliary of the American Cancer Society has donated in excess of $100,000 since it was founded 15 years ago. The Key Biscayne Woman's Club provides money to more than 10 organizations and awards college scholarships to Key Biscayne students.
